The Greece Police Department has issued a New York State Amber Alert after confirming that a child was abducted at around 10:04 a.m. Monday.
Police say Cassidy Geffert, 16, was abducted at 79 Talnuck Drive in Rochester. Geffert left a note for her parents saying that she was in danger, the police report says. The note had blood and the victim’s cell phone number on it.
Police have confirmed that a .38 caliber handgun has been taken from the house and a vehicle stolen from the scene.
Geffert is described as 5’6″, white, with brown hair and blue eyes, and was last seen wearing “silky pajama shorts.”
The stolen vehicle is a 2006 black SAAB sedan, with a New York license plate #GMM9136.

The Greece Town PD has activated the New York State AMBER Alert and is investigating a confirmed child abduction that occurred at 79 Talnuck Drive in Rochester, NY at about 10:04 AM on 6/23/2014.
Victim left a note for parents indicating she was in danger. Note had blood on it and victims cell phone. Household in disarray with knife on floor and .38 caliber handgun taken from home. Vehicle stolen from scene. Possibly heading to Ohio.
