Ithaca, N.Y. — The Ithaca Community Fireworks Celebration is working to raise $20,000 for the upcoming July 4 celebration.
A press release from the group said:
Donors will receive recognition for their contribution in these rewarded ways:
$10+ A donation of $10 or more will get you a “I Got A Bang for My Buck” button and a free hot dog or hamburger at the event, plus the knowledge that you made it happen.
$100 You get a Parking Pass for the fireworks event in Stewart Park and you get a free All American Hot Dog, Veggie Dog, or Hamburger from the Festival concession stand.
$250 – Parking Pass to Stewart Park, chairs, plus food from our food vendors for you and 4 of your friends plus a framed photograph of the fireworks.
$500 Gets you 2 parking passes plus a 10×10 pop up with table and chairs set up for your group in a prime location and a picnic basket with local goodies for you and your friends plus a framed photograph of the fireworks.
$1,000 – Gets your name and logo on the stage and you or your business in the advertising for the event plus 2 parking passes, a picnic set up (as outlined above), sparkling beverages, and food from our concession stand, plus a framed photo with recognition of your contribution to the event.
Volunteer – Volunteers can receive benefits and a bang for their volunteer buck by contacting the Ithaca Community Fireworks at ithacafireworks@gmail.com. To receive a parking pass and concessions, you will need to volunteer four hours before, during or after the event.
