Trumansburg, N.Y. — Police are investigating the theft of an 88-year-old’s 2005 Toyota Camry that occurred between Friday afternoon and Saturday morning.
Inside the vehicle were two fishing poles and a medical walker, according to police.
The four-door, green sedan was parked in the driveway of a Pennsylvania Ave. home, and the keys were left inside one of the car’s compartments, according to police. The theft took place after 4:30 p.m. Friday and before 7:00 a.m. Saturday.
The car is the owner’s only means of transportation and is valued at $6,000, police said.
In addition, an out of service truck in the driveway was also entered, although nothing was stolen.
