Cayuga Heights, N.Y. — Police have released a composite sketch of the man suspected of robbing a home in Cayuga Heights on Sunday.
Police are still looking for the suspect in the burglary/robbery, said to have occurred around 10:23 p.m. Sunday in a house on The Parkway in Cayuga Heights.
The suspect displayed a small handgun during the crime but fled after being confronted by a resident of the home, according to Cayuga Heights police.

The sketch was done by using FACES, a facial composite software created by IQ Biometrix.
Police say the suspect is a white male, about 5 feet 8 inches tall and 180 lbs. He was wearing khaki pants, a sleeveless T-shirt and a backpack during the crime.
He has not been found, though a Cornell police alert sent out Tuesday said he had been seen on the university’s North Campus.
Cayuga Heights police are handling the investigation. They can be reached at607-257-1011.
Cornell police said Monday that someone had been arrested for the crime, but later said that the person was cleared.
