Ithaca, N.Y. — A wanted Ithaca man has turned himself into police following a stabbing in the city’s West Village.
Zavierus “Biggum” King, who was also accused in a 2013 shooting, was charged with third-degree menacing in connection with the incident on Sunday. He turned himself in on Tuesday.
“Following the initial investigation, witnesses provided sufficient information to identify … King as the suspect in the stabbing,” a police press release said.
King, 19, has been released on bail.
Police responded to 150 West Village Place around 2 p.m. Sunday and found “a large group of people arguing and fighting in the parking lot,” some armed with baseball bats and wooden clubs.
Yvette King, 36, was also arrested in connection with that incident. For more on that arrest, see here.
A police press release did say that the victim, who suffered a small leg wound, was uncooperative in the investigation.
This information has just been released and we will update the story when we have more news.
