Six police vehicles were seen parked where Route 13A meets Route 13. Traffic was at a crawl there at around 6:30 p.m. but moving.

Bangs Ambulance and Tompkins County sheriff’s deputies were also on the scene.

The deputies and officers searched an area spanning at least 400 feet, lifting branches and debris along the roadway as they searched for clues.
