Ithaca, N.Y. — Back in July, The Ithaca Voice published a photo gallery courtesy of local cake decorator Amy Gaines.
Gaines has again shared her photos with The Voice — this time, exclusively with images from around the scenic Cornell University.

Gaines told The Voice in July that she began snapping the images on her iPhone shortly after moving here from Buffalo.
“Since my move, I find myself looking a little closer, moving a little slower and appreciating a little more,” said Gaines, owner of DarlingCake.com
“I try to see art and beauty in things and places others may not; a lot of times I go for walks with the sole purpose of finding it.”
Gaines’ method is simple. She takes all the photos with her iPhone and then edits their saturation, warmth, detail and contrast, she says.
