Lansing, N.Y. — Two separate fundraisers have been launched to support the families affected by a fatal crash that occurred late Friday night in Lansing.
Lynn Eastman III, 19, of Lansing, was killed in the crash, which Senior Investigator Jody Coombes said Monday appeared to be an accident.
Two others — Billy Radcliffe, 21; and Zachary Radcliffe, 19 — were taken to Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse. They are on life support and in critical condition, Coombes said Monday morning.
Two GoFundMe fundraisers have been started to help the Radcliffe and Eastman families.
One, for Eastman’s family, seeks to raise $5,000 to help the Eastman family cover funeral expenses. So far, three people have given around $200 in the first 15 hours of the fundraiser.
A second fundraiser, for the Radcliffe family, seeks to raise $10,000 to help the family with “medical bills, services for the boys and their every day needs while they are going through this extremely hard time.”
“If you can please donate anything is helpful as their insurance is not covering (the cost) of some things,” the page states. “Every dollar helps!”
