Four live performances of the cult classic film will be held this evening and tomorrow evening at both 9 p.m. and midnight, although both 9 p.m. showings have already sold out.

For the performances, 39 members of the cast will perform alongside the film, which will be shown on two large screens at the front of room 225 of Williams Hall, located near Ithaca College’s campus center. Tickets are $7 at the door.

The performances are being presented by the Macabre Theatre Ensemble, which, according to their Facebook page, “exists to provide Ithaca College with supernatural, horror, horror comedy, science fiction, avant-garde and experimental theatre.”

Production of the show has continued for well over a month, said producer Nuria Hunter, who also performs in the show. The show is being directed by Angie Barry and Meredith Clarke, a graduate and a student of Ithaca College, respectively.

Each show runs approximately 90 minutes in length, but Sarah Killian, who plays Rocky, says that it is more than worth your time.

“For an hour and a half of your life, you get to be completely sexually liberated from whatever little jail cell society puts your sexuality into,” Killian said.
