Ithaca, N.Y. — Nick Offerman of the hit NBC sitcom “Parks and Recreation” will be performing at Cornell’s Bailey Hall on Dec. 5, according to the Cornell Concert Commission.
Tickets for the general public go on sale Nov. 6.
The act will be part comedy, part music, according to the Cornell Daily Sun. It is being co-hosted by the Cornell University Program Board.
Offerman plays Ron Swanson on “Parks and Recreation” and has beeen in several movies, including “22 Jump Street,” and TV shows, including “Conan O’Brien Presents.”
He’s pretty funny, too.

Here’s a few of Offerman’s jokes:
— “If Hillary Clinton wins in 2016, it’ll be the first time two presidents have had sex with each other.”
— “The person who would proof read Hitler’s speeches was a grammar Nazi.”
— “Tonight’s dinner celebrated Washington, DC, itself a city with a rich history of music and art and diplomats getting away with vehicular homicide.”
