Ithaca, N.Y. — State police announced two separate arrests of intoxicated drivers on Tuesday.

The sheriff’s office had announced two others on Monday.

1 — DWI, fireworks

On Sunday, troopers arrested a Groton man for Driving While Intoxicated — his Blood Alcohol Content was .15%, nearly twice the legal limit, they said.

Anthony J. Beeman, 30, was also found to have illegal fireworks, according to state police. He was arrested after police responded to a speeding call.

Beeman will appear in court on Oct. 20.

2 — DWI, drugs

Also on Saturday, state police in Homer arrested an Ithaca man for Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs.

Eric J. Tenorio, 41, also faces the charge of seventh-degree possession of a controlled substance. Tenorio is accused of having a small amount of heroin.

Police responded to the Interstate 81 exit 12 ramp to find a three-vehicle accident. Tenorio was accused of causing the accident by following too closely and arrested.

Tenorio will appear in court Oct. 27.

3 — Town of Ithaca arrest

On Saturday at 1:38 a.m., police stopped a 2008 Subaru traveling south in the northbound lane on East Shore Drive in the Town of Ithaca.

Jeannette E. Luther, 29, of Spencer, was arrested

Luther was charged with two counts of Driving While Intoxicated and Failure to Remain in a Designated Lane.

“Luther was released and is to appear in the Town of Ithaca Court on November 5, 2014 at 4:00 PM,” police say.

4 — Newfield DWI

On Friday at 12:58 a.m., deputies saw a 2006 Nissan fail to remain in the correct lane on Town Line Road in Newfield.

Philip R. Hasley, 22, of Newfield was arrested and charged with three counts of driving while intoxicated and moving from a designated lane unsafely.

He will reappear in court on Oct. 30.
