Ithaca, N.Y. — Authorities at Ithaca College are investigating a weekend burglary at the college’s Circle Apartments, according to a public safety alert.

The burglary occurred between 11 p.m. Saturday and 1:15 a.m. on Sunday. A burglar entered an apartment, “maliciously vandalizing it,” destroying furniture and personal belongings, according to the statement from Ithaca College authorities.
The Office of Public Safety and Emergency Management is investigating the report. There were no signs of forced entry, the Office of Public Safety reported.

Members of the campus community are reminded to always lock their offices, rooms and apartments and immediately report any suspicious activity to the Office of Public Safety and Emergency Management.
