Anthony Salino was found unresponsive and not breathing on Monday afternoon on the second story of the Rescue Mission, at 618 West State Street. He was later pronounced dead at the scene.
No cause of death has been determined. Police say drug paraphernalia was found in Salino’s room but that it’s unclear if this was a contributing factor in the death.
An autopsy and toxicology examination will be done, according to Ithaca police Officer Jamie Williamson.
