Max Addy, 22, was a baseball player at IC and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration.

Addy also graduated from Newfield High School in 2010 and was captain of both the baseball and basketball teams, according to his obituary.

The Ithacan reported that Addy wanted to become a third-generation line mechanic in electrical power lines like his father, uncle and grandfather.

From The Ithacan:

“(Cooper) Belyea said Addy was a people person who loved to brighten up the days of people around him.

“I think if he saw how much of an impact he made on people, he would be very proud of himself, just for how many people he touched and inspired,” he said.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Dec. 4 at the Immaculate Conception Church, according to Addy’s obituary.
