Ithaca, N.Y. — The fast-food joint Sonic Drive-In is eyeing a potential expansion to Ithaca, according to a press release from the company on Monday.

The statement said Sonic will be building eight new drive-throughs in the Albany area over the next seven years. That brings the total number of Sonic establishments in upstate New York to 27, according to the fast food company.

The statement adds:

“In addition to all of this growth, the brand is still offering franchise development opportunities in Binghamton, Ithaca, Utica, Rockland and Westchester Counties.”
