Ithaca, N.Y. — Nationally famous actress and comedian Lily Tomlin will be performing at Ithaca’s State Theatre in March, Dan Smalls Presents said on Facebook Wednesday.

“An Evening With Lily Tomlin” will begin at 8 p.m. on Thursday, March 5. Tickets are $49.50 to $69.50.
Tomlin, a Kennedy Center honoree, played President Josiah Bartlett’s secretary on the hit NBC show “The West Wing” and has been adored for comedic roles in movies and TV shows for decades.
She also won a Tony for best actress in a play in 1986 and in 1972 won the Special Tony Award for lifetime achievement.
More recent Tomlin roles have included Vivian Jaffe in “I Heart Huckabees” and Rhonda Johnson in “A Prairie Home Companion.”
A recent segment in CBS noted that Tomlin has a “face that’s launched 1,000 laughs.”
