Walters became the third alumnus in the university’s history to win a Super Bowl last year, when he and the Seahawks crushed the Denver Broncos by a 43-8 margin.
Walters is a native of Washington State and majored in economics while on the Hill, according to the Cornell Daily Sun.
The Sun wrote of Walters in 2008:
Capable of making plays on the outside, Walters’ speed forces defenses to stretch thin, giving the Red a deep threat and opening more passing lanes for Cornell’s west coast style offense.
