Dryden, N.Y. — A man has been accused of burglarizing a home in the town of Dryden.

Douglas N. Gillogly Jr., 51, of the town of Dryden, faces felony second-degree burglary charges, according to the Tompkins County Sheriff’s Office.

Sheriff’s deputies said today that Gillogly was seen by law enforcement “carrying property while walking down Sheldon Road in the Town of Dryden” at around 9 p.m. Saturday.

“Gillogly was interviewed by deputies about the property, and it is alleged that he entered a residence on Sheldon Road without permission from the owner and stole the property from within the residence,” a press release from the sheriff’s office siad.

Gillogly was arraigned in Lansing Town Court and released. He was due back in court today.
