Dryden, N.Y. — A fugitive from Kentucky wanted for violating a probation warrant on an unlawful weapons charge was arrested by deputies in Dryden last week, according to the Tompkins County Sheriff’s Office.

Joshua S. Drake, 31, was wanted by law enforcement of the city of Brandenburg in Kentucky. Drake was arrested at 9:14 p.m. after deputies responded to a house at 29 Neimi Road in the town of Dryden, according to the news release.

Deputies said that police went to the house after receiving a tip that a fugitive was at the location.

Drake was arraigned at the Village of Freeville Court and remanded to the Tompkins County Jail pending extradition to Kentucky.
