Check out WHCU Radio’s comprehensive listing of area closures. The Ithaca City School District has canceled after school activities, as have Groton, Dryden and Newfield, according to WVBR’s listing.

The Ithaca region is expected to get one to two inches of snow before a wintry mix of sleet and freezing rain takes over, according to the National Weather Service. Here’s our earlier weather report from today; there’s no indication that there have been major changes to the forecast since then.

“Light snow will change to sleet and freezing rain today before plain rain today. Expect a wide range of conditions. Highs near freezing,” the Cornell Weather blog said on Twitter.
