Here’s the IPD press release:
“While in the area for an unrelated investigation, officers were approached by a male subject who stated that he had been robbed while sitting in his vehicle in the 600 block of Chestnut Street. The victim stated that two males opened his car door and demanded all his money. The suspects reportedly took cash, a necklace and prescription medication.”
“A subject who matched the description of one of the suspects was located and found to have several warrants. It was determined that the subject, Phillip Campbell, was not involved with the robbery, but he was arrested on the warrants.”
“The robbery investigation is ongoing.”
