Ithaca, N.Y. — Brian Crandall is the author of Ithacating in Cornell Heights, a blog focusing on history and development at Cornell and in the Ithaca community, and now entering its seventh year of publication. Both his work there and original content are going to be posted on The Ithaca Voice.
Background: Brian has had the pleasure of living in several of New York’s regions, including Syracuse, Ithaca, Albany and New York City. Currently he’s in Albany for a second stint, this time working as an air quality scientist, but he would like to make his way back to the city of gorges some day.
Favorite Ithaca meal: Saigon Kitchen’s pho ga, but the sweet tooth loves the soda fountain at Green Street Pharmacy.
Favorite way to spend a Friday night in Ithaca: A trip up to Fuertes Observatory on Cornell’s Campus.
Fun fact: Brian was a Cornell Sun weather columnist for two years, and has probably heard every meteorologist joke you can think of.
