ITHACA, N.Y. — Ithaca police are looking for two men they say robbed an apartment with a shotgun and taser Thursday morning.

The incident happened around 3:20 a.m. on the 300 block of Spencer Road, police said.
Two residents smoking on their back porch said they were approached by two men who forced themselves into the apartment with the weapons.
The two men took a laptop and other items and fled the apartment, police said.
Officials said one suspect is a 6-foot white male, skinny with a muscular build and wearing a black bandana, black sweat pants and a dark sweatshirt.
They said the second suspect is a white male about 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall, wearing black sweatpants, a hooded, light colored sweatshirt and floral print bandana.
Police said they do not think the incident was a random occurrence and were unable to find the suspects during a search of the area.
