Birds and Blossoms: Bird Walk in the Arboretum
In collaboration with the Cornell Lab of Ornithology and the Cayuga Bird Club, Cornell Plantations presents a series of Friday morning bird walks in the Newman Arboretum. Walks will be held rain or shine. Pre-registration is not required.

2015 Game Design Showcase
Save your tokens for the arcade and be the first to play dozens of new video games for free at the annual Cornell Game Design Initiative Showcase. The showcase is open to the general public and will feature both PC and mobile games created for various classes and independent studies over the past year at Cornell. Visitors are encouraged to actively play the games and vote for their favorite.

Running to Places Theatre Company – The Wizard of Oz @ State Theatre
Running to Places (R2P) is a youth community theatre company that brings together middle & high school students from across the area. This weekend is “The Wizard of Oz!” with the story of Dorothy and her dog Toto. She meets an interesting group of characters who all hope the Wizard of Oz will help them, before the Wicked Witch of the West catches up with them.

Sciencenter Showtime! Moo to You
Enjoy an interactive demonstration from local scientists, teachers and students every Saturday at Sciencenter Showtime! This month meet animals who live in Cascadilla Creek, learn how milk gets from the cow to your house, watch the exciting power of electricity, and discover how DNA makes each person unique. The show in included with admission.

Ithaca College Commencement
Celebrate this weekend and hear Olympic gold medalist Meghan Musnicki deliver the main address at Ithaca College’s 2015 Commencement ceremony. A member of the U.S. national rowing team for the past five years, she earned the gold in the women’s eight event at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. No tickets are required for Butterfield Stadium, but seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. Live television coverage of Commencement begins at 9am on cable channel 16.
