The man was in the building but did not steal or vandalize anything, Lt. Dan Donahue, of the Tompkins County Sheriff’s Office said.
Officials are asking anyone with information to call the sheriff’s office at 607-266-5420.
Correction: In my haste to report the story this morning, I misread the press release issued by the sheriff’s office. Police are looking for one man who was seen in the school, not two men, as I initially reported.
