Bus To Nature: Route 22
Led by trumpeter, composer, and educator Paul Merrill, the Cornell Faculty Jazz Quintet will present “Music of the First and Second Great Miles Davis Quintets” on Tuesday, July 7, at 7:30 p.m. in the Schwartz Center for the Performing Arts. Free and open to the public, the concert is sponsored by the School of Continuing Education and Summer Sessions.
Performing with Merrill will be James Spinazzola on saxophone, Peter Chwazik on guitar, Tom Brigandi on bass, and Greg Evans on drums.
Cornell’s free summer events, which run from June 23 to July 31, include Tuesday performances at the Schwartz Center for the Performing Arts, Wednesday lectures at Call Auditorium in Kennedy Hall, and Friday concerts on the Arts Quad. For more information, visit summer.cornell.edu/
