ITHACA, N.Y. — Police said a man who caused a crash that sent a person to the hospital in Lansing Wednesday was under the influence of drugs at the time of the accident.
Officials said Daniel Sellen, 31, of Genoa was driving north on East Shore Drive at 12:38 p.m. in a 2003 Chevrolet when he failed to keep right and crossed into the southbound lane. A 1991 Chevrolet being driven south by Raymond Odell, 54, of Lansing, was hit.
A passanger in Odell’s vehicle was transported to SUNY Upstate Medical Center with injuries.
Police said an investigation of the scene showed that Sellen was under the influence of drugs and he was taken to Cayuga Medical Center.
Charges against him are pending
