Officials were called at 9:46 p.m. to Ridgewood Road where a male told them he fell about 10 to 15 feet off the roof.

“He couldn’t remember how he fell,” Ithaca Police Officer Jamie Williamson said, but added that the student’s friends said he often spends time on the roof.

Williamson said drugs and alcohol were not involved in the incident and no foul play is suspected.

The student was airlifted to a regional trauma center with injuries that did not appear to be life threatening, Williamson said.

The Ithaca Fire Department and Bangs Ambulance also assisted at the scene.
