ITHACA, N.Y. — A man accused of brutally raping a woman in Dryden was taken into custody again Friday.
Jeffrey L. Horton, 52, was arrested and charged with second-degree criminal contempt, according to an officer at the Tompkins County Jail.
He was previously released on $100,000 bail for 10 felony and six misdemeanor charges in regard to a March 24 incident where he is accused of attacking and raping a woman for about two hours.
His attorney Luke Fenchel, of Holmberg Galbraith law firm, declined to comment about the arrest.
Horton is in jail in lieu of posting $150,000 cash bail or $300,000 bond, a jail official said.
