ITHACA, N.Y. — Police say the found heroin, cocaine and cash while executing a search warrant at a home Thursday in Ithaca.

The warrant was issued for William Prescott, 55, at a home on the 100 block of Chestnut Street. Police said the search warrant was issued as a result of a narcotics trafficking investigation.

Officials said they found heroin, cocaine, marijuana, measuring and packaging paraphernalia, and a small amount of U.S. currency in the home.

Prescott was charged with felony third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and two misdemeanor counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Prescott was arraigned in Ithaca City Court and remanded to the Tompkins County Jail in lieu of $7,500 cash bail or $15,000 property bond.
