Background: Jennifer is a Cornell graduate who found her way back home. As an undergrad, she wrote for several local publications: The Cornell Chronicle, GreenLeaf, ‘Scopes, Ezra and States of Mind magazines. Before leaving Ithaca to earn her Masters degree with the Medill School of Journalism, she discovered a deep and abiding love for local farms, Finger Lakes food and wine, and for Wegmans’ cheese shop. Jennifer has at times been an e-learning content developer, copywriter, blogger, freelancer, editor, and researcher plying her wares for Forbes Travel Guide, The Irish Times, Chicago Tonight and Chicago magazine, among others. If pressed, she prefers to just say ‘writer’.

Favorite way to spend a Friday night in Ithaca: Taking an early evening walk in Stewart Park, cracking open a bottle of wine and cooking dinner together with her husband.

Fun fact: Catch Jennifer around town teaching stage combat and sword fighting with Ring of Steel: Ithaca, or skating with the Ithaca League of Women Rollers.
