ITHACA, NY – Ithaca College alumna Meghan Musnicki already has one Olympic gold medal under her belt and will have a chance at another in this year’s Summer Olympics in Rio de Janiero.

On Friday, USRowing announced their roster for the 2016 games. Musnicki will be on the women’s eight team, which took the gold in London in 2012. If they win this year, it will be their 11th-consecutive world/Olympic title.

According to an Ithaca College news release, Musnicki has been on the United States national rowing team from 2010 to 2015. She is one of the most decorated rowers in the sport, with 17 medals in international competition, 11 of them gold.

Musnicki, who hails from Naples, NY, was inducted into Ithaca College’s Athletics Hall of Fame in 2013. She returned to the college to speak at its commencement in 2015.
