UPDATE ā As of 3:09 p.m., a man involved in the crash is being airlifted to a medical facility.
TRUMANSBURG, NY ā A single vehicle crash was reported on 7000 block Curry Road just outside of Trumansburg on Wednesday afternoon.
A single vehicle with two passengers went off the road in the crash, according to Sergeant Jeff Huddle of the Trumansburg Village Police.
One person did not have serious injuries. The extent of the injuries for the other person involved in the crash is being evaluated
Officials say he may be transported by ambulance to Cayuga Medical Center, or by Life Net helicopter to another facility.
The accident occurred just outside the village and is under state police jurisdiction. Trumansburg Fire Department, Trumansburg Ambulance, Bangs Ambulance, New York State Police and Enfield Fire Department responded to the call.
The 7000 block of Curry Road is expected to be closed for at least one hour as of approximately 3:00 p.m. Authorities recommend taking alternate routes.
