ITHACA, NY — On Tuesday August 23, twin brothers Corey and Kevin Adelman of Bickering Twins Catering are teaming up with Chris O’brien, owner of the local landmark, Lincoln Street Diner, to turn the diner into a taqueria for the night.
The event, dubbed Taco Tuesday, will run from 5 – 8 p.m.
The menu will include hand-pressed blue corn tortillas (or a flour alternative) with options of the following fillings: lamb barbacoa, chicken in pipian rojo, garlic shrimp with green cabbage slaw, and a vegetarian taco of charred corn, poblanos, summer squash and grilled scallion.
Tacos will be $3.50 a piece, or three tacos for $9.50.
A platter option that includes three tacos, rice, and a choice of either smashed plantains with green chiles, or black beans will also be available for $13.00.
