ITHACA, N.Y. — The annual Greater Ithaca Activities Center Martin Luther King Jr. Community Breakfast will take place Saturday morning.
This year’s theme is a quote from Martin Luther King Jr.: “Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.”
The breakfast will take place from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Beverly J. Martin Elementary School. The event will feature youth and community performances as well as guest speaker Sean Eversley-Bradwell.
The costs for breakfast are $4 for adults, $2 for seniors and students and $12 for families of four or more. Proceeds go to charity.
