ITHACA, N.Y. — Cornell University Police are investigating a series of thefts from vehicles parked at Hasbrouck Apartments at 121 Pleasant Grove Rd., which reportedly occurred during the overnight hours of Monday, April 24 and Tuesday, April 25.
Complainants reported that sometime during the evening hours of April 24 and the early morning hours of April 25, an unknown person or persons entered five parked vehicles and stole cash, electronic devices and other personal items. At this time, no description of the suspect or suspects is immediately available.
The police investigation is ongoing. Cornell University Police urge the community to take steps to protect their property by locking and removing valuable items from vehicles when parked, and to immediately report any suspected criminal activity they may see by dialing 911.
