ITHACA, NY — Just in time for spring to finally emerge, Jack’s in Collegetown has added grilled boneless wings and grilled chicken tenders to their menu.

Both the wings and tenders are gluten-free, low-fat, low-calorie and low-carb.

The difference between the two is that the boneless wings come already drenched with the sauce of your choice, whereas the tenders are served with the dipping sauce on the side. There are ~20 sauces from which to choose.

“With springtime coming,” said owner Kevin Sullivan, “people are a little more conscious of what they’re eating.

The aim of launching the new grilled options was to add a healthy alternative that doesn’t lack flavor from its fried counterpart.

Jack’s Grill even brought in specialized equipment to cook the grilled wings and tenders, to keep them just as juicy.

“They’re marinated in our house-grilled chicken marinade, same thing we do grilled chicken sandwiches in,” Sullivan said. “They’re absolutely delicious.”
