ITHACA, N.Y. – The Ithaca Police Department and Cornell University Police Department are investigating an indecent exposure incident that occurred on April 26, 2017 at 2:26 am in the 500 block of University Ave.
The female victim told police she was crossing University Ave., walking toward an off-campus apartment complex property. The victim stated that once she was in the parking area, she heard feet dragging behind her. When the victim turned around, she observed a male subject expose himself. The subject made no other actions verbally or physically when the victim noticed him. The male subject turned back and walked down University Ave.
The suspect is described as a white male, possibly in his 30’s, with short brown hair, no facial hair or glasses, and average height and weight. The subject was wearing a camouflage sweatshirt and blue jeans. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Ithaca Police Department at (607) 272-3245.
