ITHACA, N.Y. — A 20-year-old Cornell University student has been reported missing, Cornell police say.
Aalaap Narasipura has not been seen since Wednesday morning between 2 and 3 a.m., his friends told police. He was last seen in Sage Hall. Police have checked Narasipura’s place of residence, academic spaces and regular routes of travel.
Narasipura is described as a dark-skinned man, 5-feet-9 inches tall, 121 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing shorts and a flannel shirt with bright blue socks and leather sandals. He may have had an earth-tone backpack.
The investigation is continuing in cooperation with the Ithaca Police Department, New York State Police, Ithaca Fire Department and Cornell Office of Emergency Management.
