ITHACA, N.Y. — Restaurant Row on Aurora Street welcomed a new, yet familiar, face Wednesday with the soft opening of Luna Inspired Street Food. The new branch of Luna adds to the original location on Stewart Avenue, and a presence in Lot 10 and in the Ithaca Yacht Club.

Luna, which aims to bring street food to a brick-and-mortar setting, acknowledged its diverse sources of inspiration on the chalkboard, listing cities from Saigon to Caracas, and in its menu, offering everything from a “pho-rrito” to jerk chicken in a jar.

Luna officially opens Thursday, June 1st. Here are 20 photos from the soft launch. (All photos by Mike Blaney / The Ithaca Voice)
