ITHACA, N.Y. — The City of Ithaca is hosting a public meeting Wednesday to present its Parks and Recreation Master Plan, which has been in progress for the past nine months.

The meeting is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Borg Warner Room of the Tompkins County Public Library.

The Parks and Recreation Master Plan will guide the city’s overall strategy for managing the community’s open spaces — from waterfront parks to neighborhood parks. The planning process began in late 2016.

The meeting is open to the public and will include a presentation from the consultant team and conclude with a question-and-answer session and an opportunity to provide feedback.
