ITHACA, N.Y. — Two people have been charged after police say they were on the roof of a building on the 200 block of Center Street in Ithaca Sunday night.
The incident was reported at 11:09 p.m. and police said they created a perimeter around the building. Shortly afterward, police say two men ran from the building and officers chased after them, taking them into custody.
Terrence Fink, 19, of Ithaca, and Anthony Briggs, 20, of Trumansburg, were both taken into custody
Fink is charged with felony third-degree attempted burglary, and misdemeanors for possession of burglar tools and second-degree obstructing governmental administration. He was remanded to the Tompkins County Jail in lieu of posting $15,000 bail or $30,000 bond.
Briggs is charged with felony third-degree attempted burglary and misdemeanors for possession of burglar tools, second-degree obstructing governmental administration, and third-degree criminal trespass. He was remanded to the Tompkins County Jail in lieu posting $5,000 bail or $10,000 bond.
Both men were arraigned in Ithaca City Court.
