NEWFIELD, N.Y. – The Tompkins County Sheriff’s Office is currently on the lookout for a possibly suspicious person in Newfield.
Lieutenant Dan Donahue of the Tompkins County Sheriff’s Office said they have “stepped up” patrols in the area, investigating multiple reports of a suspicious person.
Donahue said the investigations are ongoing and it was too early to provide further information on the current reports.
Donahue said if anyone observes a suspicious vehicle in their neighborhood, do not approach it, but try to get a description of the vehicle and the license plate and contact local law enforcement.
