JUNIUS, N.Y. — A Trumansburg man has been charged with multiple counts of rape after allegedly forcing a 16-year-old employee to have sex on multiple occasions.
The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office arrested Jesse M. Farina-Geiger, 24, of Trumansburg, on Aug. 2 and charged him with two counts of first-degree rape, four counts of third-degree rape and endangering the welfare of a child.
Deputies say Farina-Geiger worked in management at a store in Junius and allegedly forced a subordinate employee to have sex with him on multiple occasions while they were working.
According to the Finger Lakes Times, the crime occurred at the Waterloo Premium Outlets. Deputies declined to say which store to protect the identity of the victim.
Farina-Geiger was arraigned in the Town of Junius Court and remanded to jail in lieu of $10,000 cash, $20,000 bail.
The sheriff’s office said the investigation is continuing and there is concern that there may be more victims. If anyone has any information about Farina-Geiger, they are asked to contact Investigator Christopher Felice at 315-220-3445.
