ULYSSES, N.Y. — An Ithaca man was treated for an overdose after police say they found him unconscious in a vehicle in the town of Ulysses Friday.
According to officials, Michael J. Anderson II, 28, was driving a 1997 Honda Accord on Iradell and Podunk Roads when he began to overdose. The vehicle stopped in the roadway and the engine was still running when officers arrived at the scene.
A news release from the New York State Police states, “He was treated by a paramedic for a drug overdose and transported to Cayuga Medical Center by ambulance.”
Anderson is charged with a misdemeanor for driving a motor vehicle while ability impaired by drugs and other traffic offenses. He’s scheduled to appear in the Town of Ulysses Court on Nov. 13.
