ITHACA, N.Y.—The third annual Wizarding Weekend is underway in Downtown Ithaca. The Tompkins County Public Library is hosting several ‘Magical Classes’ for all ages throughout the weekend. Teen Services Librarian Regina DeMauro said the Library participated in Wizarding Weekend by hosting events last year, but they focused more on teens and adults so they worked to include children this year.
“We noticed that a lot of families were looking for things for their children to do, especially on Sunday, so we expanded this year,” DeMauro said.
To start off the weekend, there was yoga for children from 2 to 4 p.m. and Dumbledore’s Army Training from 4 to 6 p.m. on Friday.
