ITHACA, N.Y. — An executive order issued by Governor Andrew Cuomo will let most New Yorkers pre-pay 2018 property taxes through the end of the month.

According to a news release from the governor’s office, “The order authorizes localities to issue warrants for the collection of early property tax payments and to accept partial payment—allowing New Yorkers to pay a portion or all of their 2018 property taxes before the end of the year to keep the deductibility.”

Locally, municipalities are making headway to let people pay early. Below are all the public statements from municipalities about paying 2018 property taxes early:

Note: If your municipality is not listed, a public statement has not been made about early payment. However, you may still be able to make an early payment. Call your local municipality for more information.
