TRUMANSBURG, N.Y. – Roads in Trumansburg are temporarily closed following a propane truck crash, leaving the vehicle on its side.
First responders were called to the scene near 108 Seneca Road in Trumansburg just after 1 p.m. on Thursday afternoon. Initial reports say after a crash, a propane truck was left on its side, leaking fluid.
According to Tompkins County Dispatch, the crash occurred just past the Seneca County line. While not technically in Tompkins County, the Ithaca Fire Department were among first responders, according to dispatch officials. No major injuries have been reported at this time.
While the truck appears to be leaking, first responders are still unsure of the severity of the leak. Roads between Congress Street and Bradley Street will be temporarily closed until the issue is resolved.
