ITHACA— Tompkins County Public Library will celebrate Poem in Your Pocket Day on April 26. Poems will be featured on cards to be given out around the community. In 2017, 1,500 poems were distributed.

Short poems written by local poets are needed. Poems must be no longer than 16 lines, and there is a limit of two poems per poet. Poems must address the 2018 theme of Identity.

The deadline for submitting poems is March 23. All poems that meet the criteria will be featured in Poem in Your Pocket Day.
