ITHACA, N.Y. — The weather was perfect Tuesday night for the Ithaca Rotary Community Fireworks show, visible from many points on or around Cayuga Lake. At Stewart Park, the shore facing Newman Municipal Golf Course, where the fireworks launched, was packed. In the water, kayakers and even a dragon boat paddled in to get a close look.

Before the show kicked off at 9:45 p.m., there was music by the Smoking Loons, and food and treats from local vendors.

There will be more opportunities to see fireworks this week for anyone who missed Tuesday’s show, or who just wants more entertainment.
